PARENTS

1.- I have lost my proof card, how can get a copy or access to my child’s images?

2.- How do I order photos from past years?

Click here fill up the form specifying your pupil(s) full name, School, year(s) and class you desire to get access to.

3.- I have order a digital download – How will I receive my image(s)?

We aim to send the download link emails out to the email address you placed the order with within 72 hours (images requiring retouching may take longer). Remember to check your spam/junk folder in your email client as your image order email may be seen as spam by some email clients.

4.- I am a separated parent, is it possible to obtain an additional proof card or password to access my child´s photographs?

Yes, you can request it by clicking in here and filling up the form, we will reply to you with the information via email.

5.- Can I request student’s passwords via phone call?

No, we do not give any students information on the phone, if you wish to make a request it has to be done via e-mail.

6.- How long do I have to make my order and receive it at the school?

From the date we deliver the proof cards to the school you have 10 days to make your order and receive it at the school. After that, you can still make your order and get it send to your preferred address within the metropolitan region (with an extra charge) or pick it up at Hamilton Studios Office (no charge).

7.- I have missed the deadline to receive my photos to the school. Do you keep record of the student´s images?

The images will be online during the school year the photo was taken, after that you can always click here and fill up the form to get your photos re uploaded to our website and the password to be able to access to them.

8.- Will I get an email confirmation when I place my order and pay online?

Yes. An automatic email confirmation will be sent to your registered email address when you finish your order before being redirected to the payment process. Once you have done your payment we will send a payment confirmation email within 24/48 hours (working day) with all the delivery information. If you don´t receive a payment confirmation email after 48 hours (working day) it means that something has gone wrong with the payment process. 9.- How long will I take for my photo order to be deliver?

This will depend upon the method you choose when placing your order:

  • • Orders via school: 10 working days after the deadline given to place your order.
  • • Orders via website for home delivery: 7 working days by mail post.
  • • Orders via website for office pick up: 7 working.
  • • Digital download via website order: Within 72 hours.

10.- My order has arrived but it is incorrect or damaged, who do I contact?

Please contact us immediately at contact@hamiltonstudios.cl to be able to solve the issue at the earliest date.

11.- Online Ordering isn't working.

Certain combinations of device, operating system, browser, firewall etc. can give unusual results on the online store. Please try using a different computer to order.

12.- What can we do if a student is absent or joins the school after photo day/week?

Usually we take between 3 to 5 days to photograph the whole School, depending on the size of the establishment. We always comeback for a photo session at the beginning of the second semester to take missing and new students.

13.- Do you Photoshop or manipulate any of the portraits taken of the students?

It is not standard practice at Hamilton Students to alter student’s portraits for cosmetic purposes. Requests for digitally altered images must be done by parent(s). Please contact our friendly customer service staff for more information.

14.- Have your staff and photographers had a Working with Children & police check?

Yes, before commencing employment with Hamilton Studios it is a requirement that all our staff obtain a current Working with Children and police clearance certificate.

FOR SCHOOLS

1.- What kind of photos do you take?

We are committed to satisfy any request of the photography area. However, we specialized in school and event photography among which we can highlight professional individual pupil´s and staff portraits, group photos of whole classes and grades, event photos (Proms, graduations, first communions, ceremonies, etc.), Club´s group photos, workshops or extracurricular activities such as Choirs, sport, theater, music bands, dance groups, cheerleaders, etc.

2.- Can we trust your photographers?

Yes, of course! before commencing employment with Hamilton Studios it is a requirement that all our staff is background checked (Registo de inhabilidades del servicio de registro civil e identificación de Chile) to make sure they are allowed to work with children as well as presenting a current police clearance certificate and verifiable working references. They are also all trained to our own Code of Ethics to ensure they work to the high standards you’d expect.

3.- Is there a charge for staff portraits to be taken?

No, we are happy to take your staff portraits on the same day as your pupils’ portraits. Please talk to us if you have a particularly large proportion of staff to pupil ratio.

4.- Will we receive all the photos taken?

Yes, the school will receive all the individual portraits of students/staff and the group photos to be used for administrative, promotional and marketing purposes.

5.- When will we receive our photos?

We will endeavor to deliver the finished product within 6-8 weeks unless other arrangements have been made with the school.

This turnaround time is a guide and is dependent on prompt approvals, proofs, names etc from the school.

6.- Can parents order and pay for school photos online?

Yes, we provide a secure online payment system that has been in place for some years now. More and more parents are taking advantage of this easy and convenient way of ordering school photos which allows them to view and purchase their images using a unique password.

7.- Will we need to count any money from parents?

A: Not at all. We provide each child with a unique link through which family and friends can order photos directly through our online ordering system. This means no cash handling or heavy administration for you.
